As part of the Earth hour celebrations last night at the Windmill Casino in Bloemfontein, these lanterns were lit and released to lit up the sky.
"Red" is also a popular color theme for weddings. I always photograph the bouquets to use as backgrounds in some of the wedding images.
Props are very handy in the studio to make shoots fun. Carla & Ianthe are two sisters who came for a shoot and we played around with a few different props.

Color themes also work well in the studio. Here we dressed up the little one as a lady bird. The red background complemented the scene well.
A few weeks ago I had a color theme for the week, so I decided to color code this week red. Markets are interesting to places to photograph. The fruit and vegetables are usually grouped together in their different colors to have a stronger impact. I photographed these chilies at a Cambodian market.
Adriaan & Marinda had a beautiful day on which they celebrated their wedding. Congratulations! Their church service was at the Klipkerk after which the reception took place at Oliewenhuis.
Our church held it’s annual road race. These runners took the lead on the 10 km.
