Anton & Michelle are also in Cape Town for holiday. So we met at the beach for a shoot. It was again a very windy day.
I did a beach sunset shoot with Jaco. The wind was quite strong. Thank you for "playing model" in such weather conditions.

On holiday there is always different photographic opportunities and I had the chance to photograph some "other babies".
We have arrived safely in the Cape and are looking forward to our break. The well known Table mountain had it’s cloud blanket on.
I did many "Christmas shoots" this month. This was also a cute three month old baby girl.

This time of the year is a special time for families to be together and celebrate the festive season.
Congratulations Mlungisi & Chiko!!! They got married at Tuscan Rose. It was my last wedding for 2014.
It has been a busy week at the studio and between all the Christmas shoots, the stork has also been busy delivering babies.
It is my elder brother’s birthday today. Happy B-day!!! Here he is with his sons – Christiaan & Derick.
The babies are so cute, dressed up for the Christmas theme.

To have a bit of variation on the Christmas shoots, I dressed up the girls as angels.
Capturing the little ones when they just started walking is always special. This little guy is only 9 months old and already started walking.
I presented a studio lighting course last week where I also demonstrated playing with colored gels.
I also did a Christmast shoot with my dogs. Shrek is the oldest one turning 13 years just after Christmas.
Shopping malls are also decorated during the festive season. This was Clarke Quay in Singpapore in 2012.
We photographed a year end function at Bloem Spa. As we arrived at the venue, this peacock was showing off.
Load shedding is impacting our lives again. On the photography side I am doing much more natural light shooting than in the past. This shoot took place while the power was out. I really love the big windows in the studio to accommodate natural light photography as well.
In 2012 we were in Singapore before Christmas, where I had the opportunity to photograph some of the Christmas decorations. As we are in the festive season I want to share some of the images.
